What I do

01 / six areas
01

Club, events and venues

Launching and running private clubs and event venues: membership model and member services, marketing plans, rules, event formats and calendar, service standards, supplier management, flows and venue capacity. Real luxury is when everything feels natural: every detail in the right place, every person in the right place.

02

Hospitality

Quality standards and operating processes in accommodation, from the front line to food and beverage. I have worked with the hospitality sector and with the leading Italian and international chains: I know the distance between what a property promises and what the guest actually receives.

03

Tourism destinations

Territorial tourism development, destination promotion and marketing strategies, multi-year policy guidelines, visitor services, tourist information office setup, start-up and governance of two Local Tourism Systems in Liguria. Today, executive direction of contracts for destination development.

04

Marketing and communication

Strategy and delivery, from territorial marketing to corporate communication: market analysis and benchmarking, segmentation and positioning, branding, media and social media plans, catalogues, email marketing, websites, customer journey and funnel automation, objectives and KPIs. I wrote the plans and produced the materials.

05

Tour operating and agency

Company strategy and profitability by business line. Product development, positioning, pricing, revenue management by channel, distribution channel development, regulatory compliance, digital ecosystem development with CRM and CMS. The title of technical director of a travel agency is a consequence of my work.

06

MICE

Event account management for national and international events. Market analysis and new business strategies. Creation and management of the DMC MICE incoming Italy division, with overseas offices and sales weeks in São Paulo, Istanbul, Vancouver, Warsaw and London and at the main international trade fairs.

How I work

03 / an approach, not a service

Artificial intelligence isn't what I sell. It's what I use.

AI isn't there to do more things. It's there to free up time to do better the ones that matter.

It has to make processes and people faster and more effective: analysis, operations, customer support and, above all, strategic thinking. The technology only counts up to a point.

I build it into the projects I run every day, working alongside the people who really know those processes: to see where AI can make a difference, where it pays to apply it and where it's better to stop.

Every day

Agents inside the workflow

Not the occasional prompt: a configured workspace. Written rules, memory that carries over between sessions, reusable procedures. The AI reads the company's files where they are and in the format they exist in.

  • Analysis and benchmarksmarket research, competitor work and taxonomies built on verified, cited sources.
  • Long documentstender specifications, regulations, contracts, policies and reports read and compared in a few hours.
  • Measurement systemsKPI dashboards, scoring models, capacity limits: from the indicators to the spreadsheet that computes them.
  • Recurring processesassignments, onboarding, operational checklists: the tasks that repeat, with information scattered across files.
  • Handoverthe people I work with learn to use them: the tools stay with the company after the project ends.

When it becomes a project

LISA

Study Tours International

Not a conversational assistant placed in front of the management system: the system itself, restructured in JSON so that an AI can read it. Once the client is identified by their email, it opens their file and answers on real data.

  • the product purchased, down to the details
  • payments made and payments still due
  • contractual, legal and insurance terms
  • logistics and operations

The usual move is to put an AI in front of the data that already exists. Here the data was rewritten so the AI could read it: every answer is specific because the file it comes from is.

Crossovers from past work

04 / 46 pieces · 2001 — 2025

Catalogues, brochures, plans, presentations.

If there's a project, let's call it by its name.

Tell me what you need to build and make work. If it isn't my kind of job I'll say so straight away — and I can usually tell you whose it is.
